it spins!
you can spin it too!
how cool
What else do I make?
Sim Stick
What is it?
A 2.4GHz ELRS receiver with a Raspberry Pi RP2040 converting its CRSF output to USB HID inputs that your computer can read.
Why is it?
- Wires are kinda annoying
- Bluetooth is unacceptable (slow, unreliable, annoying)
- Other legacy sim links use closed protocols
what other things do badly
- High refresh rate, low latency (ELRS can run at up to 1000Hz!)
- Fully open source firmware 💚 ELRS & CRSFJoystick
- Hardware is open source too 💚 Avolo Sim Stick
- Bring your own receiver (Disable the onboard RX and use any receiver that can output CRSF)
what the stick does (tries to do) better
- Make you less of a shit pilot
what it can't do
Avolo Sim Stick
v0.0.1
ELRS 2.4 GHz
Onboard antennas
the whole thing is a USB stick, cool right?
